http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Upgraded to a suite on check-in at the Grand Stanford Hotel made it 2 for 2; JW Marriott in Beijing and now here in Hong Kong but with only 1 bath, no powder room, and no electric drapes :) Travelers who belong to different loyalty clubs do get a little (or a lot) something extra. As I've said before, luxury hotels are all about the breakfast buffets, particularly in Asia. There's nothing I adore more than trying different Chinese, Indian and Continental dishes at breakfast and can usually eat myself into a food coma. A wonderful hotel and beyond outstanding breakfast.
Stanford hosts the Grand Canyon Lopes, ranked number 3, for the first time. The Lopes are looking to repeat their 2015 MCLA Championship and to take down the Cardinal in Palo Alto. It’s a famous, established University against an upstart team out of Phoenix.
